The traditional Malaysian cuisine...

Weeeee... I've been wanting to cook chicken curry since long ago and I finally decided to give it a try few days back. =D

After at least an hour of battle...

Not enough coconut cream and water I think? LOLz.

And since I had leftover coconut cream, I decided to cook nasi lemak (coconut rice) as well.

Oo la la...

So, voila! The traditional Malaysian cuisine... Nasi lemak with chicken curry! =D

Toga Party

So yepz. A month ago on the 9th of April, I attended my uni's toga party held at the on-campus Bar on the Hill.

Just for your information, toga party is a costume party in which everyone wears a toga, normally made from a bed sheet, and sandals. =D

And nopez. I did not go dressed in a toga like this:

But I went as a volunteered photographer for the University of Newcastle Union. Hehe.

Randomness: My New Boyfriend and Banana Cake

Weeeee... I'm back! =D

Things have been great for me so far since my second mid-semester exams ended last Monday. Well, I certainly hope I can relax and enjoy life like this longer but I know I have to constantly remind myself that finals will begin in just a month's time. Sigh.

Anywayz, let's get back to the happy stuffs. LOLz.

First and foremost, I finally couldn't stand the loneliness here anymore and got myself a new boyfriend! Will introduce him later at the end of this post, okie? =P

Secondly, I baked banana cake today! Haha. My first attempt at baking a cake (cheesecake and tiramisu not counted because those are non-baked) was indeed a huge success.

I was really anxious while waiting for the cake to be baked in the microwave oven. Will it successfully come out as a banana cake, or a banana stone? Will it end up in everyone's stomach, or the dustbin? Haha.

After cutting out a small slice (as you can see in this picture above) to try and to make sure that everything was alright, I couldn't hold my excitement anymore and decided to call my mum to tell her about it. Haha. Although she did not really say anything (as expected) and asked me did I gain weight instead, I could still feel that she was happy for me too. =P


So yepz. Thanks to all my friends who had faith in me and finished the cake in the blink of an eye. Whoopz. I hope you understand what is an exaggeration. LOLz.

Hiatus
